Fun and games!
Alumapalooza isn’t just about lively seminars, fascinating offsite adventures, fabulous food, and nonstop socializing with Airstream friends. You’ll have fun, too. (See what we did there?)
New wacky hijinks have been added to the attendee-favorite shenaniganza on the Alumapalooza 6 program, including—
Wally’s Silent Bullhorn— Charades, Airstream-style. For prizes.
Open House Poker Run—Pick up one playing card at each trailers flying an open house flag during this two-day happy hour event; the best poker hand shown at the end of the week wins a prize! A great way FIX to meet your fellow ‘streamers and peek into their Airstreams, vintage and new.
Water Balloon Baseball—The late May weather is warm in Jackson Center—sometimes VERY warm—and the field outside the Airstream factory is the perfect venue for a wet and wild game of water balloon baseball. Join (or cheer on) the Alumapalooza participant team as they face off against the Dirty Oranges.
Human Powered Towing—What’s YOUR tow rating? Your team of four will compete to pull a gutted 1968 Airstream Safari across our official race course.
And, back by popular demand—and only at the Airstream factory—the infamous (and educational) Rivet Masters competition returns to Alumapalooza 6. How many rivets can you and a partner accurately buck in a short time? It’s harder than you think—and a great skill to learn.
Remember to pack props for your Aluminum Gong Show act! At this favorite Aluma-event spectacle, Alumapalooza participants showcase their “talent” for charity. Perform your jokes, songs, or even an entertaining skill that defies description while the audience cheers…or you get the gong. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to perform! It’s all in good fun, and every act helps raise money for a worthy local cause. Sign up at the activity registration desk when you arrive.
As if that’s not enough fun, Alumapalooza also takes place during Jackson Center Days, the local community festival that features a Car, Bike and Truck Show, carnival rides for the kiddies, live bands, drawings, a dodgeball tournament, food stands, and more. Stick around for the annual parade—this year in honor of WWII Veterans—that begins when Alumapalooza concludes on Sunday May 31, right on Pike Street at the Airstream, Inc. parking lot.
