Dutch Oven cooking recipes for this year

We’ll have the Preliminary Event Program posted here very soon, but if you are coming to Alumapalooza you should know that we will be repeating the popular Dutch Oven cooking sessions!  Matt Hackney will once again lead the two sessions.  This year we’ll be making Monkey Bread, and Burritos.  If you’d like to participate, bring the following ingredients to Alumapalooza, along with your 10 to 12 inch camp-style Dutch Oven:

Monkey Bread

Cooking Scissors (not everyone needs to bring these, we can share)
2 rolls biscuits
1/2 cup of sugar
3 Tbsp cinnamon (in plastic bag with sugar)
1 stick butter
foil to line dutch oven

Burritos

1 large onion, diced
1 lb lean hamburger or cut up chicken
1 lb sausage
1 bell pepper, diced
2 cans black beans
1 can whole kernel corn
14 oz chicken broth
1 package taco seasoning mix
Box Minute Rice (to make 3 cups)
cooking oil
flour tortillas
2 cups shredded mexican cheese
