Saturday headliner: Edgar Cruz!

The superb Spanish guitarist Edgar Cruz—one of the best in the world—will bring his solo show to the intimate Alumapalooza main tent.

Six times voted the best guitarist/entertainer in Oklahoma, Cruz has recorded 17 CDs and performs at  venues throughout America, Europe and South America—including the prestigious Chet Atkins Guitar Festival in Nashville where he’s been a headliner since 1995.

You’ll be amazed by the precision, speed and complexity of his fingerwork on the guitar, creating “a symphony of sound” unusual for just one instrument.

Expect a wonderful repertoire that includes some of the most memorable pieces written for the guitar (like Malagueña, Classical Gas, and Dueling Banjos), acoustic versions of your favorite rock songs (like Hotel California and Bohemian Rhapsody), Latin favorites, originals, and medleys on the fly. Clapping, singing, and dancing along—as well as your enthusiastic “olés” and “yee-haws”—are all encouraged!
